Our Story
The Dr. B. B. Debroy Foundation is a non-profit organization established to carry forward the legacy of Dr. Binoy Bhushan Debroy, a visionary physician, humanitarian, and social reformer.
Born in 21 Jan 1911 in Bangladesh, Dr. B. B. Debroy completed his MBBS from Dhaka University in 1928 Following his medical education, he returned to Tripura, dedicating his life to the service of the underprivileged through relentless charity work medical care, and community upliftment.
Inspired by his selfless service and compassion for the marginalized, the Foundation works in the fields of healthcare, education, environmental sustainability, and rural development. Guided by Dr. Debroy’s values of empathy, inclusivity, and grassroots engagement, the Foundation strives to bring positive change to communities across Tripura and beyond.
